I have caught up with Leverage!

4x02, "The Ten Li'l Grifters Job": ( spoilers )

- I read some Leverage spoilers and they made me VERY HAPPY. (Spoilers for casting and the basic premise of two episodes at that link.) Specifically, the bit that made me happy was: ( spoilers )

- On the Doctor Who front, I never got round to posting about "The Doctor's Wife" and the moment has now passed, but suffice to say that I really loved it. ♥ This week's I loved slightly less, though. ( spoilers ) I also feel the need to note that the first ten minutes or so of the Confidential, in which Our Heroes struggle on despite Adverse Weather Conditions (TM), were entirely adorable.

- I watched the first five episodes of The Vampire Diaries at the weekend! ( spoilers )

- In non-TV related news, this week is a busy week! (The good sort of busy, not the too-much-work sort.) Today I had a lovely lunch with fallingtowers, and tomorrow The Mother is coming down for lunch and shopping. And on Thursday I am going to visit The Sister in Spain! Er. Ash cloud permitting. I heard on the radio last night that it's supposed to be over Northern Spain "later in the week". NO THAT IS NOT WHAT I WANT. Also the forecast is for the temperature where The Sister is to drop from 32C to 14C between Wednesday and Thursday. *frowns at nature*

Just finished watching "Earthshock". ( spoilers )

1) Happy belated birthdays to revolutionaren and glinda!

2) I had the day off yesterday, and I have more days off on Monday and Tuesday, hurrah. Yesterday I went shopping and tried on many dresses, all of which looked terrible on me. Possibly this is my mutant power. Today I got started on cleaning ALL the things with much tidying and hoovering and dusting, so now I am exhausted. Boo.

3) Other plans for the weekend involve catching up on telly. I have begun by watching the last but one episode of Leverage (3x07, "The Gone Fishing Job"), which I loved a great deal. It made me howl with laughter many times, and ( spoilers )

4) Also, I knitted something! And finished it! (Well, almost, haven't woven the trailing yarn ends in yet, due to laziness.) And liked it! And even managed to take a picture of it that I don't hate.

A couple of things I made for three_weeks_for_dw; it's been three weeks since I posted them, so I can link them here now! Anon/Open ID commenting should be enabled on both, unless I have messed something up (entirely possible).

2.) Between the library move and being at my parents' for Easter, have not been around much recently, and since I am away again next weekend this is not likely to change; if there's anything from the last week or so or in the next week or so that you think I should/would like to see, leave me a link! ♥

3.) I think Dreamwidth may have been looking through my brain for ideas for their new features; now if you click on someone's icon it takes you straight to their userpics page, and the drafts saving feature now saves subject lines etc too. I like!

4.) Sign I have possibly been watching too much Leverage: I found myself in the hat department at TK Maxx and the first thought I had went: "ooo, that looks like a hat that Nate would wear. I should TOTALLY buy it." I did not in fact buy it, so there may be hope for me yet.

5.) Also in the watching things department, "The Eleventh Hour"! I liked it a lot, though there was one thing I didn't like. ( all thoughts under here, with spoilers )

5b.) My sister, this weekend, on New Who as a whole: "They have spent too much money on effects and not enough money on QUARRIES." ...I cannot fault her logic.

I keep looking at the list of Leverage episodes and going "yay" at all the awesomeness to be rewatched soon. Tonight it was "The Wedding Job" and "The Snow Job", here are some words about them:
