One day I will have the brain to write things up again, but until then I will just say that I highly, highly recommend A Snake Falls To Earth and The Oleander Sword, and leave it at that.

What did you think of Stormsong?

I'm having a slight problem with the worldbuilding in these books whereby I feel like either I'm missing something key or the way the Laneeri are treated by both the characters and the narrative is a bit off - I feel like they get treated like out and out villains when Aeland isn't exactly blameless either? Which is a shame because other than that I really liked it, I thought the atmosphere was particularly good in this one.

What did you think of Paladin's Grace? I picked up the two parts of the Clocktaur War book and I'm enjoying that, but I'm missing the Priests of the Rat...

I really liked it! The romance didn't work for me, but that's more about me than the book, and I just really love Kingfisher's writing, especially in this world. Agree that the priests of the White Rat are the absolute best!
