The good thing about working late on Monday evenings is that I can come home and collapse in front of the telly without any guilt about how I should be studying. Also it turns out wine makes me better at University Challenge. This is a useful fact to know.

Spooks!

• MALCOLM. MALCOLM MALCOLM MALCOLM. I HAD NO IDEA. THERE WAS REAL LIFE FLAILING. And then I was SO SCARED that bad things would happen to him, but then he was JUST TOO CLEVER I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.

• Lucas got half a point back from me for working out that it wasn't really Harry on the phone, but then promptly LOST ALL THE POINTS for what happened to Ortiz. His manpain now has a bodycount ARGH. Please tell me he is leaving soon, because I cannot stand much more of this. (No, really, I wants spoilers. Not about anyone else, just him.)


• Oh Ruth! Just calmly and methodically gathering evidence to TAKE LUCAS DOWN. ♥

• So many lols at Luke pretending to have a new boyfriend best friend just to see Clyde's face ♥

• I am still not keen on new UNIT, but Clyde is right, that base is WIN.

• Did the spaceship remind anyone else of "Genesis of the Daleks"? I suppose the set up is pretty standard, but that is the first thing I thought of.

• I am actually OK with Jo being all sadface on finding the Doctor visited Sarah but not her: it's not an unreasonable reaction, and she immediately assumed it was because Sarah is just made of awesome.

• JO CHAINED HERSELF TO ROBERT MUGABE, OF COURSE SHE DID.


• Rani's delivery of "Clyde, I'm staring at your bum!" was beautiful.
