The good thing about working late on Monday evenings is that I can come home and collapse in front of the telly without any guilt about how I should be studying. Also it turns out wine makes me better at University Challenge. This is a useful fact to know.

- MALCOLM. MALCOLM MALCOLM MALCOLM. I HAD NO IDEA. THERE WAS REAL LIFE FLAILING. And then I was SO SCARED that bad things would happen to him, but then he was JUST TOO CLEVER I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.
- Ahem. There were other things in this episode, right? "Oi, Evershed!" ♥ ♥ ♥ And more lovely teamness, that is just what I want!
- Lucas got half a point back from me for working out that it wasn't really Harry on the phone, but then promptly LOST ALL THE POINTS for what happened to Ortiz. His manpain now has a bodycount ARGH. Please tell me he is leaving soon, because I cannot stand much more of this. (No, really, I wants spoilers. Not about anyone else, just him.)
- Oh Ruth! Just calmly and methodically gathering evidence to TAKE LUCAS DOWN. ♥

- I am still not keen on new UNIT, but Clyde is right, that base is WIN.

- Did the spaceship remind anyone else of "Genesis of the Daleks"? I suppose the set up is pretty standard, but that is the first thing I thought of.

- I am actually OK with Jo being all sadface on finding the Doctor visited Sarah but not her: it's not an unreasonable reaction, and she immediately assumed it was because Sarah is just made of awesome.

And it is V SAD that I want Richard Armitage to NOT STILL BE IN A THING, for he is beautiful and has a beautiful voice but OMG SO RUB.
My thoughts exactly! Last week's was good because he was mostly just running around in the background whilst the focus was on everyone else. I wish they'd just done that all season.
I was primed to like Dmitri because he obviously likes Ruth and is therefore a sensible person, but blowing stuff up clinched it!

Only mildly related, but Haresh is looking a lot older to me this year. Is it just that he let his hair grow out, or has he aged alot?
That animated CBBC logo is driving me bonkers ... it was right over Sarah Jane's face while she was talking in one scene--you guys are experiencing the same thing locally I suppose?

As for Spooks, I bounced out of my chair when Malcolm opened the door!! I had no clue he was in it and I flailed so hard... And when Lucas went back and the house was empty I was all "HA! GOTCHA!" And I wanted to kick Lucas' arse from here to Timbuktu for what happened with Ortiz. Dimitri blowing up the Grid was awesome! :D :D
And Iain Glen's character continues to be an utter bastard - I do love him playing bastards!

I would love to have Malcolm back, but I would be permanently terrified that they'd kill him off! He's already had one not-getting-killed-off exit, which is one more than most of them get... (I am scared for Ruth for the same reason!)
