"I love my drawer!"

I had good intentions for my afternoon off yesterday, I really did. There was going to be hoovering and cleaning and clearing out and all sorts. But then I got home and it was cold and dark and Lovefilm had sent me more Alias (aka The Program With The Longest Teasers Ever) and, well, the inevitable happened and I spent the entire afternoon cuddled up under a blanket knitting and watching Alias. I love it more with every episode! Here is a list of things I love about it:
- SYDNEY ♥! She made a skirt out of WRAPPING PAPER. There are many other awesome things about her but that one is the latest.
- Sydney/Vaughn, they are UNUTTERABLY CUTE. They play ice hockey and beat up the bad guys, and then there was that bit when they were kissing in the ruins of SD-6 and it was wonderful. And she gave him a DRAWER and he put his wee rucksack in it and sat there SMILING AT HIS DRAWER. (And then Weiss was all "I have no drawer D:" and Vaughn said he could have a drawer at his house ♥)
- SPYFAMILY FOR THE WIN. I like them best when they are fighting things together but all the other things are ace too. Oh, that bit when Irina and Sydney were on the rooftop surrounded by guards and they hugged, that broke me a little. (Whatever else Irina is up to, I really believe that she loves Sydney.) Also the scene where Syd is talking to her dad on the phone, and he gives the codeword and she just starts crying, oh, Sydney.
- DIXON ILU. I am PERPETUALLY TERRIFIED that bad things will happen to him, because I know many spoilers for future seasons but none of them concern him. BE OK, DIXON! I was v. sad about Diane, but I loved the scene where Dixon pretended he was going to set the bomb off: "TELL ME WHAT I WANT TO KNOW OR I WILL BLOW US BOTH UP, I AM NOT JOKING ABOUT THIS AT ALL. ...ok, I totally was."
- Oh Francie :( I was spoiled for her death but it still made me sad. Though I see why they did it: they'd got all the mileage they could out of "Francie doesn't know about Sydney's spy antics" so they had to shake things up somehow.
- ...I do not love Marshall. But I am consistently amused by how unimpressed everyone at the CIA is with his babbling.
- I would say I loved the commentaries, but then the one for "A Dark Turn" had spoilers in it >:( I liked the other two, though, the cast ones, they were fun.
I do not seem to have any Alias icons, how disappointing.
