Law. Also order.
Tuesday, 31 March 2009 13:36How much do I love Alesha? *holds arms really wide* THIS MUCH! She totally solved the case with her investigating powers, somewhat unrealistic, I imagine, but still awesome. And the scene where she (and James) pwned the snooty club person (technical term) was also brilliant. I really liked the scene by the river too: I may not be shipping her and James but I do adore their friendship. "I am, officially, rubbish."
On the 'order' side, aw, Matt. I have been going through screencaps for iconing purposes (holding off on actually posting any until I have a decent amount) and he does make many excellent comedy faces. I like that in a character. The scene where the forensics guy was mocking him a bit was great. And slightly more seriously, I liked the bit at the beginning, with Ronnie and Natalie looking out for him and him looking like he rather wished he'd been a librarian instead.
Pretty grim episode, this one, but good. OH JAMES. The final courtroom scene was very satisfying, with all those "guilty!"s, but with that extra bit of regret, knowing he'd probably sacrificed a twenty-year friendship to get there, as much as I think he was probably right to do it.
I just read on
louk_mattdevlin that ITV are doing a split season thing, so after next week there'll be no new episodes until September. D: WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME, ITV? Is it because I keep saying your online player is rubbish? I only do that because it is.

I ship Alesha/James but after last night's ep I was bouncing around the room! That walk by the river seriously needs iconing, especially with her adorable hat (a first!) And yes, James, you are officially rubbish, but she luffs you anyway!

Date: 31 Mar 2009 15:15 (UTC)Heh, I love that everyone I know watches this show through Alesha-tinted glasses. The Freema love is strong.
Am three episodes behind, eep! Must catch up.
