Happy meme, days 3 and 4 4 and 5, on account of I forgot to post yesterday. I'm actually finding this meme harder than wot I was expecting: I am vaguely happy most of the time without being able to pinpoint one specific thing that makes me so. So, yesterday: first through-the-post Christmas card of the year, from Hetty, wishing me unusually good public transport wherever I may go. ♥ And from today, had a lovely yummy Pizza Express sloppy guiseppe pizza, so expensive but totally worth it, om nom nom nom.

I love The Sarah Connor Chronicles so so much, you guys. Just watched 2x12 and 2x13, 'Alpine Fields' and 'Earthlings Welcome Here', here are random thoughts:
- Sarah and her persistance winning through: she just keeps going even in the face of other people thinking she's deluded, of her thinking she might be deluded, and eventually she gets somewhere That machine hovering over her was a prototype of those machines with the big searchlights from the future, yes? I liked the way that shot of the three dots of blood on her face from a few episodes back just puts us (well, me at least) right where she'd been for the whole episode; going "how did that get there? Did someone who hit her have it on a signet ring? Was that guy who hit her wearing a ring?", trying to make it make sense.
- Another great SCC-verse minor character in Lauren; I really hope we see more of her down the line.
- All the storylines and characters on this show are so strong that when one gets sidelined or doesn't appear at all I hardly notice. Not much Cameron in these two, for instance, but everything else was so good it didn't matter. And when she was there she was nice and weird, which made up for it.
- Leven Rambin did a great job selling Riley's wonder at being back in the present where everything's clean and soft and nice. I suppose if everyone in the future knew about the time-travel things they'd all be coming back, all the time. And oh, I really hope she's ok! I'm not sure if they're planning to use her to let John and Sarah and co find out what Jesse's up to, or to kill her off to keep them in the dark. *worries*
- On a shallower note, whyyyy do they keep putting Shirley Manson in such terrible outfits? Is it some kind of "she doesn't know how to dress herself cos she's a KILLER ROBOT FROM THE FUTURE thing? Because I do not approve.
