I heard on the radio yesterday that we're getting the sort of temperatures at the moment that we usually expect in late December/early January. THIS IS NOT ON. I rather feel that we as a nation should put our heads together and come up with some sort of Cunning Plan for moving the entire country a few hundred miles south. Yes.

The Mother and I have just been to Madrid for the weekend (some pictures on facebook here); it was lovely, the weather was gorgeous and sunny and warm, we did lots of sightseeing, went to the three main galleries and saw some flamenco, awesome. I don't speak any Spanish, though, so I did find it a bit frustrating not being able to understand anyone or make myself understood. But other than that it was great. And now I have a lot of internets to catch up on. *wanders off to do that*

Hee! Unfortunately it was so sunny that I couldn't see the screen on my camera, so I didn't know what any of my pictures looked like. (This is also why some of them are at funny angles.)

Hello! I think Spain looks like a good place to be when it is so cold here... I wore my big blanket-like coat to tesco and shivered lots. especially in the fridge ailes! We saw Colin Baker on Monday! Vanky said he is your favourite doctor. He was in Noises Off, which was very funny. Too funny at times - we couldn't stop laughing long enough to breath, which is always a bit of an issue... I'm off now to make some nice hot food... Hope you are re-adjusting to English life :-)

It was so lovely and warm... and now it is so cold... I put my heating on last night but it was full of dust so it smelt horribly of burnination and set the fire alarms off. Fail! Colin Baker is not my favourite but I am very fond of him. xxx
