2.) I have just finished (re)watching The Robots of Death, which I liked rather a lot: some as-I-went-along observations under the cut:
- I like the way the robots move past one another without seeming to notice each other.
- Y HALO THAR, NEW!TRAVIS. I automatically suspect him because he is Travis.
- Aw at Leela bouncing on the seats! And the pleased look on her face when she says: "Because they have no feelings?"
- ♥ Leela spinning round in her chair! I love her.
- "Just... try and hold her steady." / "Oh, thanks, I'd never have thought of that." Hee! The story does a great job overall on selling me on the crew: they really feel like a group who've known each other and been working together for a while.
- Great cliffhanger to part two! There's a real sense of imminent disaster.
- Sparkly future bandages! WANT. Pos. not v. practical however.
- Aw, Leela is so proud of her bandaging skills! I love how open she is with her emotions.
- The robot with its head smashed in is a rather disturbing sight.
- The "pyoingggg" sound effect when Leela's knife hits V6 is a little more comedy than it really should be.
- "Do not kill me." So polite and yet so creepy.
- "Please do not throw hands at me." :DDDDDDD D84 sounds so ...disappointed by this turn of events.
- BRB, shipping Leela/Toos.
- Oh, D84. His singsong "I will" when the Doctor tells him to be careful is very childlike.
- "You look ridiculous in that outfit. Not half the robot your father was." I have a feeling the Doctor is misquoting something else here but have no idea what, and google is unhelpful. Any ideas? Of course I have seen this episode before so I might just be thinking of last time I saw it.
