1.) Being Human is back!
- I really enjoyed the episode and am glad it's back. Am saying this first as not everything I am going to say about it is entirely positive.
- Could've done with more humour, it was a bit doom and gloom, and though that makes sense given their situation, but I prefer things a bit lighter.
- "There was a werewolf called Nina on Buffy." OH ANNIE ILU. See also: all Annie's other scenes, apart from a few bits in the pub when I was hiding due to embarrassment squick. Her interview scene was just adorable. (Hugh was v. sweet, too. Me saying that probably guarantees that he will end up evil and/or dead.)
- I cannot stand George. Like, at all. I understand that finding out you've accidentally turned your girlfriend into a werewolf is rather distressing, but couldn't he have shown her a tiny fragment of concern? Even just an "are you ok?" or an "I know how hard this is" would've helped. But nooooo, it's all about his pain. Argh. If I were awarding a prize for the thing I said the most whilst watching, "shut UP, George" would win hands down. (I did guffaw when he called Mitchell "deadly furniture" (or whatever the line was, I cannot remember and no-one seems to have quoted it yet), though.
- The Nina/Annie scenes were WIN. More of those!
- Mitchell! ♥ I love how much he cares about people, his little family in particular. And that doctor woman! He bought her a fish inna jar! And the final scene, where he's so pleased to be part of the street community! (I was just thinking "hey, don't they all think he's a paedophile?" when that woman was all "hey, sorry we all thought you were a paedophile that time, we were totes wrong. :D?", heh.) And I love that he appreciates Annie's tea making as her coping strategy, however weird he personally might find it.
- OOO PLOT. Interesting.
2.) Best thing about snow? The "Your Pictures" section on the BBC website. *browses happily*
3.) I was skimming through my copy of About Time 4 last night, looking at which stories are on their way, when I noticed that instead of page 311 they've printed page 11 again. Disaster! I don't suppose any of you have a copy and would be willing to scan or photocopy the relevant page? I would be v. grateful! Otherwise I'll try and have a moan at Amazon...
