Lots of things have happened since I last updated, back in the Dark Ages. Here are some of them, handil sorted into two categories! Woo.
Things of Rage and Woe
(these will go first, to get 'em out of the way!)
- Everyone is going/has gone! V. depressing.
- The BBC are closing their "BBC Cult" website. Hateration! Please to return my license fee, posthaste.
- I am making a new top and it is hard. (but see below...)
- Packing is tricky.
Things of Joy and Light
- PRIMARK! It is truly a delight to behold. Why oh why is there not one in Cheltenham? Maybe there is one in Gloucester. *googles* Woohoo! "Much have I seen and known [...] And drunk delight of Primark with my peers / Far on the ringing plains of windy Newcastle" (Tennyson, 'Ulysses')
- Lego Star Wars game! Thankee Hett n Mark n Gem! *wants to be at home so she can play it*
- Filmses! Recently I have seen (or reseen): Gladiator (at last! Is v. good, but was v. long ago now so can't remember details, except to be impressed that the "husband to a murdered wife speech was still affecting, despite it being parodied on Dead Ringers full many a time. And Brian Blessed was in it! Mine eyen deceiveth me not), Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (eeeeeee! So pretty! Ludicrous and yet wondrous! Jude Law was adorable! Angelina Jolie was so cool! I am very overexcited!), Unbreakable (SO VERY DULL) and Phantom of the Opera (any attempt to say anything about this would undoubtedly result in a greater degree of incoherency than is usual, even for me...). And tomorrow Mark and I are going to see War of the Worlds. Joy!
- I have finished my black halter top and I likes it muchly.
- I am surprisingly chirpy despite having only had four hours sleep last night.
- I have only had to edit this entry, ooo, five times...

Date: 30 Jun 2005 11:06 (UTC)Thank you for your interesting posting of stuff! I too will post soon with some not so interesting stuff. But it'll be a post nonetheless!
Posts pictures of tops! Tell details of tops! I like tops!
You know what annoys me about Primark, though? The fact that it's almost always full of annoying people (obviously you're not included!) who just chuck the clothes about like it's some kind of a bazaar. You can fold them back up again, people!
What? What Lego Star Wars game? Why don't I have it? Is it for a compooter?
Enjoy Star Wars!
What a silly comment, sorry...
Hello Vanky, you probably don't remember me but I know who you are, weeeuergh etc etc

Indeed. Many piles of clothes did I search through. Size 16, all the dresses were.

Tis for the PS2, you will have to play it when you come and visit!
