Only mostly about Doctor Who
Friday, 10 October 2008 14:03Russell T. Davies was doing a signing of The Writer's Tale at the Borders near work today, so I sloped down there at lunchtime to have a look. I didn't get anything signed myself (didn't want to spend my entire lunchtime queuing for an expensive book I don't particularly want) but I was pleased to see that there was quite a diverse group of people queuing up. I went and lurked about a bit and it seemed like everyone was getting a little chat as well as an autograph, which was cool. But on the way there my watch broke. D: It's one of those ones where the strap is made up of links, and one of them came unfastened, so the whole thing slipped off my wrist and went smack on the pavement. Luckily the actual watch bit is ok (if slightly scuffed on one side) so I've hooked it all back together with a paperclip and hopefully should be able to get it mended.
BBC7 is going to be airing the second season of Eight 'n' Lucie audios, yay! They're starting on Sunday 19th. I haven't heard these ones yet but I did enjoy the first season so I shall definitely be tuning in, albeit via the internets as my digibox is brokened and probably wouldn't have been able to get BBC7 anyway - the reception where I live is terrible.
