Craftspam!
Wednesday, 6 February 2008 18:27The lovely
sparra had a spare digital camera, so she gave it to me, because she is awesome like that. So now I can inflict pictures of stuff what I have been making on y'all. (I am very slow and have been meaning to post these pictures for ages.)

Earrings! Obviously. The pair on the left were for The Sister and the other two pairs were for my (Cheltenham) secret santa.

Matching necklace to go with the middle earrings.

'Nother necklace for my flatmate Rhiannon.

Crocheted scarf for my secret santa, from The Happy Hooker. This was really fun to make!

The slink, from Domiknitrix. (Erm, not all my craft books have double entendres for titles, honest...) That isn't my room, by the way, it's Rhiannon's - I don't have a mirror. (Note worried expression as I try to work out how to take pictures of myself...)
I like a challenge, so I decided to make Domiknitrix's Gothlet next, which was very complicated but also lots of fun, and I took pictures as I went along...

This is the shoulders, sleeves and first bit of the back.

Then you work the lower back around to the lower front.

Then fill in the sides and the neckline. This is where I got stuck for ages because I couldn't work out where the sleeve seams would go!

But I did eventually figure it out. The last thing you do is the centre triangle, over your stomach.

The finished article! Now I want to make another one...
