Went back to my flat on Saturday and it is not as bad as I feared, hurray! Most of my stuff is fine, it is only boring but essential stuff like bedding and towels that got soaked. (This month's SFX was also a casualty.) And the ceiling is a funny colour. But mah precious bookses are fine. Yay! Unfortunately the electricity is still off so it is a bit uninhabitable and I am living in a bed and breakfast at the moment. Not ideal, but I am going to visit my friend Hetty on Friday so I have that to look forward to. Also I have been watching lots of DVDs and stuff on my laptop, mostly Dead Like Me season two which I have never seen before and is fantastic, and also the next four episodes of Stargate Atlantis season two, rented from Lovefilm and making me giggle muchly. "MALP on a stick!" "This is what happens when you back a brilliant scientist into a corner!" And so on. So basically I am a happy Jenni.
