happiness, gardening, memery
Thursday, 3 April 2008 13:07I walked down to the central library at lunchtime and borrowed a book about kitchen gardening in containers. Not sure how helpful it'll be as it seems to go on a lot about aesthetics and I cannot be bothered with all that. Also it is American, but there can't be that much difference, can there? Anyway the point is that it is a gorgeous day, it's warm, the sun is shining and the flowers down on College Green smell lovely. I hear we are forecast snow for Monday but for now I shall be happy about the springtime.
Have not quite caught up on my friendslist after being away at the weekend and only going online to rec stuff at
calufrax but I saw this meme on
eponymous_rose's journal and fancied doing it. Often I think about posts but don't actually make them, so have decided that this shall not be one of those times.
- bold the shows you watch/watched [at least 75%]
- italicise the shows you've seen at least one episode of
- post your answers.
50. Quantum Leap
49. Prison Break
I watched the first episode but felt I could not continue with something that relied for its premise on people being incredibly stupid.
48. Veronica Mars
Would quite like to watch this but it is not on DVD or channels I have. One day!
47. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Am approaching the end of season two in my rewatch and I love it dearly. This is one of the things I sometimes think about posting about but never get round to.
46. Sex & The City
Have seen season 4 twice. Have no strong desire to see the rest.
45. Farscape
I got to about episode 20 or so and then Renounced it dramatically.
44. Cracker
43. Star Trek (The Original Series)
42. Only Fools and Horses
I am English ergo I have probably seen most of this despite never deliberately intending to watch it.
41. Band of Brothers
40. Life on Mars
39. Monty Python's Flying Circus
38. Curb Your Enthusiasm
37. Star Trek: The Next Generation
36. Father Ted
35. Alias
This is something else that I shall probably watch one of these days.
34. Frasier
33. CSI: Las Vegas
32. Babylon 5
31. Deadwood
30. Dexter
Watched episode one but it was a bit gruesome I'm afraid and I never got round to watching any more.
29. ER
I stopped watching this because I only like it when the characters are happy and they are never happy. :(
28. Fawlty Towers
27. Six Feet Under
26. Red Dwarf
25. Futurama
I would have seen more of this were it not on at 7am on Sundays.
24. Twin Peaks
23. The Office UK
Watched half of episode one; that was all I could stand
22. The Shield
21. Angel
20. Blackadder
19. Scrubs
18. Arrested Development
17. South Park
16. Doctor Who
Well, I have seen all the new stuff except Voyage of the Damned but not enough classic stuff to bring it up to 75% overall I fear.
15. Heroes
I went off this a bit towards the end of the BBC2 run but kept watching til the end.
14. Firefly
13. Battlestar Galactica
This seems to go in cycles - there'll be some episodes that I love and then it will get awful for a bit and then just as I am about to give up it gets better again. Very annoying. Am up to the end of season two.
12. Family Guy
11. Seinfeld
10. Spaced
I tried, I really did, three times at the last count but I just find it so terribly dull.
09. The X-Files
08. The Wire
07. Friends
06. 24
Watching in eight episode chunks makes you go crazy in the brain but it is fun.
05. Lost
Technically I have only seen half of this but I watched every episode until Sky nicked it and I couldn't any more.
04. The West Wing
03. The Sopranos
02. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
01. The Simpsons
In conclusion: I watch too much tv. Or possibly not enough.
