Things of fail
Tuesday, 15 January 2008 08:48Just over a year after I bought it, and in the week that Torchwood starts, my TV has decided that all this "switching on" malarkey is a bit too hard, and it's not having any of it. GREAT TIMING, THERE. *headdesk* Actually, it's mostly only an annoyance, since everything I watch at the moment I have on DVD or can see via the BBC's iPlayer facility, so my laptop can step into the breach, but still. Far too many things have gone wrong this year already*. This is what happens when your one resolution is "be less fail". Grumble grumble grumble.
*for reference: I left my phone charger at my parents' house over Christmas, so for a week I was phoneless. Also I made a complete hash of getting tickets for Just A Minute - I has them now, but I didn't half make a song and dance about getting them. Oh yes, and my potential new flatmate has found somewhere else to live. Erm, anyone know of anyone who'll be wanting to share a flat in Bristol around the end of March? It is a nice flat.
