I'm back! Had a lovely week in Dartmouth and weekend in Slough, marred only by losing my railcard and having to pay through the nose to get back to Bristol. This is what happens when I try to get to/from an event involving Gem (in this case, her wedding...).

Helen, Hett and self about to embark on a cream tea. Note handknitted top and tiny wee eggtimer for telling you when the tea's brewed.
The Sister got A's in all her A-Levels (including General Studies for which I will mock her later) and is off to Manchester. Unless she changes her mind again. Got back to find a second postcard from her great Europe adventure. Also a new fridge but she had less to do with that.
Five episodes in and I am loving Heroes muchly. So much so that I even made an icon (with a lot of help from this tutorial)! It be attached to this post and on the off chance that anyone wants it please help yourself. Those two are my favourites at the moment. I hope they don't die forward slash turn out to be evil while I still like them as that would be upsetting. New episode tonight!
Now I go to catch up on the rest of the internets.
