Blink! It was really really good, hurray!
WHEE! Oh that was fun. I am quite filled with squee, yes. That be how you do a one-off episode, with great lines and characters and scariness and stuff. Martha! her snarking at the Doctor was wonderful. "I work in a shop, I have to support him." Hee! And Sally was great too The bit where she told the Doctor to stop patronising her was quite wonderful and I may have yelled "we can have her for a companion now please?" at the TV. Basically the secondary characters were fantastic in this - I really cared about Kathy having known her for a total of about three minutes. That's good writing, that is. ("Stop saying 'Hull'!") And it was very scary, yes. (Though not as scary as the clip of Hartnell's regeneration wot they've just shown in the credits. I was almost behind the sofa for reals.) The bit with Lawrence staring at the Angel, trying not to move, was incredibly tense, and the bit when the TARDIS is leaving them behind... I really thought they might not survive at that point. Brilliant idea for the villain too, wonderful concept well executed. It didn't even occur to me until I saw the Confidential that they were people in there, I just thought they had loads of statues, heh.
And Martha had ARROWS. Oh yes.
ETA: and the Confidential is now making multi-doctor fanvids at me! Can it be like this every week, plz?
