1) Sleepy Hollow watching friends, can any of you remember if Ichabod ever puts his hands in his pockets? I am trying to recreate his coat and can't tell if they're actual pockets or just pocket flaps. /o\

2) I did that vidding meme over on tumblr a few days ago and thought I'd bring it here too, as DW is less ephemeral than tumblr. So, yes, if you'd like me to answer things, give me numbers! (Ones I've already answered: 3, 7, 16 and 8, 15.)

3) I'm pretty burnt out on DC these days (she says, on the same day she added Sensation Comics to her pull list), but these Darwyn Cooke variant covers are gorgeous. I want to hang the Wonder Woman and Catwoman ones on my wall, and the Detective Comics one makes me really happy. ♥ Even the Superman/Wonder Woman one has charmed me!

I'm doing an SH rewatch, and I'll keep an eye on those pockets.

As of three episodes in, he hasn't put anything including his hands in the pockets, and I'm going back and forth on whether the line looks like it has pockets or not.

Thank you! Yeah, I've been looking through screencaps trying to work it out, but dark coat + lots of scenes in the dark + movement + his arms are often in the way is making it hard to tell.

Having caught up: He never puts his hands in his pockets, or appears to keep anything in them. Not sure where he keeps his wallet or his phone, but I think the pockets are flaps.

We just finished SH last week and it was SO AMAZINGLY AWESOME I am watching it all again for Vidding Purposes :-D I will keep an eye on Ichabod's pockets (am up to ep 5 on the rewatch now, and no hands in pockets yet.) HOWEVER, on this very important subject, my inclination would be to give it pockets regardless. Fake pocket flaps are a terrible blight on humanity, and should be banned in all civilized countries. I'm sure Ichabod would agree. My nearly-2-year-old cousin who I was babysitting last night has just learned the word 'pockets' and was very excited to point them out to me on her clothes. She would definitely agree that fake pockets are stupid, and she's incredibly adorable and perfect so her opinion is v important.

I haven't seen the last few episodes yet (for complicated reasons) but I love it so much. ♥ And you make an excellent case re pockets! I am generally very much on Team Pocket (and now desperately want an episode where Ichabod finds out about fake pockets and is OUTRAGED), but I fear they will be fiddly to make and was thus hoping canon would decide for me one way or another... ;)

:-D I am making an Unexpected Jenny vid! Unexpected because, well, I love Jenny HUGELY but she was not the character I was expecting to vid. That would be Abbie and Ichabod, obviously. (I do actually have a DESPERATE NEED to make an 'Ichabod Versus The Modern World' comedy vid, which I've been clipping for alongside my Jenny vid, but I need a song. Suggestions very welcome!)

Aaaaaaaah I hope you get to watch the ending soooooon. Does that mean the last ep you saw was the one that ended on the unintentionally HILARIOUS 'cliffhanger' of 'But how could George Washington have written the date 4 days after he died?!?!?11!' Because obviously it's not possible to write future dates. Nope.

Ichabod would be so furious at fake pockets. Right up there with bottled water and donut tax. RIOTING, I tell you, there should be RIOTING in the STREETS.

Ahaha, oops, I misread 'a few' for 'two' somehow. I think that bit's a the end of ep 11, which is otherwise a really really great, tense, emotional episode (with a focus on Jenny! And Frank Irving!)...but that last 30 seconds is unintentionally hilarious.

You know, most of what I know about comics I've learned from watching Linkara or reading other people's LJ posts but those covers are just lovely. They should do more like that, they're just all so pretty and everyone on them looks so happy and pleased!

Darwyn Cooke is so great. :D And the way everyone looks happy is what I love most about them! It feels like DC's been pushing the "no happiness" thing for ages and I'm really hoping that this is a sign that that's coming to an end.
