- Birmingham Moor Street is an unusual beautiful train station. I discovered this on the way to [twitter.com profile] twinkygem's birthday ceilidh on Saturday, which was awesome. My legs and arms hurt but it was absolutely worth it, and I feel like the best solution to the pain is to go to MORE ceilidhs and thereby get used to it. Who's with me?

- Caught up with [twitter.com profile] veritypodcast on the way home! I love that podcast so much, and Mel and Eighties Clara going off to be space pirates together is my new favourite headcanon. :D In fact, I basically want season eight to just be the adventures of all the Claras across time and space. Every episode would start with Clara saving the Doctor (who would be constantly just round the next corner, like Angel's "The Girl In Question", only not terrible), and not dying or winking out of existence or anything but instead going on to have FABULOUS ADVENTURES of her own. YES. ...I've just set myself up to be disappointed in season eight, however good it is, haven't I?

- Here is an interesting post about Kate Bishop aka Hawkeye, who is great. I've decided to go back to trade-waiting with Hawkeye, but I love Young Avengers more each issue, and Kate is one of the reasons why.

- Also on comics, I feel like I never say anything about Li'l Gotham other than IT IS A DELIGHT but that is because it is. Yesterday's issue made me laugh and laugh and also had LOTS OF ORACLE YES GOOD. ♥ (I also love that Nightwing wears an apron which has "Hot Wing" written on it, and also a red stripe in exactly the same place as the one on his New 52 costume, ahahaha.)

I have been meaning to comment here for days and days but other things keep getting in the way, gah.

That's a really interesting post about Kate. I wouldn't have thought to make the connection that she has strong morals but is more free and experience-seeking in her personal life, but that is true, that's a very Hawkeye thing to do. That actually makes her reaction to Clint's thing with Jessica make more sense to me, to remember what had happened with her and Tommy and Eli.

LI'L GOTHAM WAS THE BEST. I actually thought Nightwing was wearing an apron with a heart on it at first, which also seemed like a pretty Dick thing to do. :P The whole thing where they nearly burned down the kitchen was hilarious.

Hahaha, how did Bruce manage to tick off so many people that he ended up hanging out with Aquaman? (Aquaman and Batman hanging out makes me think of this (http://bat-lash.tumblr.com/post/6540962871/somethings-not-right-here) notoriously silly panel where Aquaman learns he...shouldn't swim alone???)

Yay for the return of tiny hearts! ♥

because of his PAIN. (It is the painiest.)
Ahaha, this is always the story of Bruce and his feelings. Either he has none, or they are the painiest, and if it were not for the fact that Alfred is actually much more passive-aggressive even than Bruce their entire family would probably have spontaneously combusted from "UGH BATMAN" feelings by now. :P
