- Meeeeme: Ask me my Top Five Whatevers. Fannish or literary or otherwise. Any top fives. Doesn't matter what, really! Fandoms, books I might get around to writing one day, women in my fandoms, ideal holiday destinations, goals for the future, celebrity crushes, books I wish would be made into movies, love songs. And I will answer them all in a new post (or in comments).
- This is the bit where I witter on about Radio 4 comedy. Cabin Pressure is excellent this series! I thought the last series was pretty average but everyone seems to have upped their game a bit and now it is great. (Sherlock fans: Cumberbatch is in it, though so is someone else with a very similar voice so nine times out of ten I can't tell if it's him or not.) Just a Minute has been great this series too; this week's taught me that I like Ross Noble a whole lot, and last week's had Sue Perkins, who makes everything better. Not so keen on Chain Reaction, but it's possible I'm judging it rather harshly because it is in the Friday slot and I am always disappointed to find something other than The Now Show or The News Quiz in there.
- My laptop is running out of hard drive, woe. Does anyone have any clever hints for freeing up space (short of "delete everything!")? Or any recommendations for external hard drive type things?
