Wednesday, 8 April 2009 12:32- I got sucked into wikipedia this morning and on my travels I discovered that in 2000 the BBC made a version of Lady Audley's Secret, a Victorian sensation novel of which I am rather fond, with Jamie Bamber as George and Steven Mackintosh (who was Rokesmith in Our Mutual Friend with Paul McGann, and was also apparently in Timelash: this isn't even one degree of Doctor Who any more, is it?) as Robert. I really want to see this, but it was only ever released on video, so it looks like I'll have to trawl charity shops for it. Also, from IMDB it looks like they've cut the subplot where ( minor spoilers for a book published 147 years ago )
