It is the first episode of Heroes in... thirteen two minutes! AT LAST! If the internet has lied to me and it turns out to be rubbish I shall be very annoyed.

Ye BBC has released details of the extras on the Key to Time boxset (here) and lo, they are manifold. Excellent. I was going to ask for this for Christmas but I don't think I can wait that long. I'm not even sure I can wait til September. *is impatient*

Curses, I have just lost an ebay auction for Interference bk 1; wils, I don't suppose you have a copy I could borrow please? I thought the library had it but this turned out to be what we in the librarian trade call a Lie.

Speaking of libraries, I had the following conversation with a student earlier:
He: *dumps pile of books*
Me: Would you like to return those?
He: *blank expression*
Me: (clearly) Are you returning those?
He: No no no, I want to return them.
Me: So you do want to return them then?
He: (so glad she finally understands) Yes!
Me: (in my inside voice) How can you be doing a masters degree?
