1) In Life News, have got a place on the Masters course I mentioned a while ago (in Information and Library Management), so will be starting that in a few weeks. Exciting! Also terrifying. I am doing it part time and also working full time (with one afternoon off a week in term time) since the course is at UWE, which is conveniently in Bristol.

2) I finally got round to watching Bernice Summerfield: Dead and Buried! It is SO GOOD. I was particularly impressed that it wasn't all dialogue, and that for quite a lot of the running time the story relied on the animation to carry it, which absolutely paid off - the animation was fantastic. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

3) 30 Days of Who meme! Day 04 – Your Favourite Doctor

At NO POINT does this meme specify ONE favourite Doctor. I'm just saying. Anyway. These three are definitely my top three, though the order they're in changes depending on my mood and what I've just watched and so on. I love Two's kindness, his silliness and his steel. I love how Eleven is completely at right angles to everyone else he meets, and the way he flails and stumbles around and somehow ends up in just the right place. I love Eight's joy and enthusiasm and the fact that he's like that because he chooses to be. THEY ARE THE BESTEST.

One thing that impressed me about Dead and Buried is how much suspense they built using visuals in the animation (as you allude to). One scene I'm thinking of is the one where she's hiding from the robot thing behind the column.

Yes, that was an excellent scene, and it would've fallen flat if the animation hadn't been so fantastic.
