doctor who vid rec and fic challenge

Vid not-quite-insta rec: Change of Time by greensilver (Doctor Who; spoilers for all of season five) I just watched this last night and it is BEAUTIFUL; the way it flows and builds is so wonderful, and I love how full of hope it is. It also made me cry a whole lot.

(Speaking of vid recs: I have been meaning for a while to make a massive recs post of the many fantastic vids I have saved on my hard drive - would anyone be interested in such a thing? I fear being a) redundant, since most of the said vids I have found in other people's rec posts and b) not being able to say much beyond WATCH THIS IT IS ALL GOOD AND STUFF.)

I have not written any fic for ages, it is terrible. (And I still owe people fandom_stocking fics, argh.) Apparently I have FOURTEEN unfinished fic drafts lying around staring accusingly at me. Obviously the correct response to all this is to sign up for Doctor Who Fic Bingo. Here is my card! I am very pleased to have UNIT in the centre square; getting something not-doable there would have stymied many possibilities for bingo. Having said that, I might try and write something for the second line from the bottom - I've just read Legacy of the Daleks, which ends with (skip) Susan nicking off with the Master's TARDIS, thus opening up a lot of possibilities. I also like the look of the diagonal running from bottom left to top right. And the second vertical column on the left. And lots of the other squares. Have I mentioned I'm terrible at decisions?
