I understand that there are people who are capable of completing an entire craft project without ever having to start again, rethink the entire project, or make an emergency craft shop dash. I am not one of those people. However I do occasionally finish things. And take pictures of them (which is incredibly complicated and involves balancing my camera on top of a mighty pile of STUFF).

Yosemite! I have been making this for OVER A YEAR on various different needle sizes and yarn weights. It has been almost finished for ages: it took me a while to get round to sewing the buttons on because button sewing is boring. And then I realised that the buttonholes were too big, so I tried to make them smaller, and that didn't work, so I just sewed the neckline (placket?) together and had done with it. But I don't care, because it is FINISHED, and today I wore it to work.

Pioneer! I really enjoyed making this and it went fairly smoothly, apart from the crocheted edging on the neck, which I had to redo four times. *headdesk*

Charm bracelet, and yes, even this I managed to mess up - I used the wrong size chain first time round and had to redo it all. Oh dear. But I am nevertheless pleased with how it turned out.

But just think how much more satisfied you are when they're finished, than if they were done easily!

I am in awe of your knitting skills - you have finished jumpers! *looks askance at own failed attempt at making Jaden (http://knitty.com/ISSUEspring08/PATTjaden.html)* And also very pretty charm bracelet!

The lacework defeats me. One row I'll have too many stitches then the next I'll have too few. I should perhaps have chosen a simpler pattern for my first full sized jumper...

Oooh how cool! I love the first one, and am so amused how you look exactly the same in the two pictures, like just the shirt changed :D I am jealous of your skillz.

Those are wonderful! I haven't dared to knit a proper garment yet; I'm sure it won't fit properly. I make jewellery too, but haven't done anything for a while. I should get back to that; it's much faster gratification, but knitting is a pleasant and relaxing activity.

You might like the idea of knitted jewellery (http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter08/PATTbijouterie.php). I have that bookmarked in Ravelry. I'd like to do a choker that way too, when I'm more confident; it looks very fiddly.

Oooh, those tops are lovely!
I'm so jealous, I don't think I'd ever be able to make a top like that. XD
