• I'm shipping River/Amy SO MUCH. All those little "ooh!" looks Amy kept shooting at River when she first came aboard? YES. And apparently the Doctor ships them too: "River, hug Amy. I'm busy." ♥


• Also that was pretty scary and very tense, well done show. (Though I could have done without the banner advertising "Over the Rainbow" on top of the last ten seconds, way to puncture Eleventy's big speech, BBC! Now I am Mr Grumpy Face. Ms Grumpy Face. And so is the ENTIRE INTERNET, or so it seems.) The bit about the Aplans having two heads when all the statues only have one was brilliant - taking the Doctor's usual throwaway ramblings and turning them into TERROR.


• ELEVEN BIT AMY! Heeeeee. ("Space teeth")


• The TARDIS console has hot and cold taps! LOVE.


• I also really liked Father whatsisname telling off the Doctor, that was great.

We had no banner over the end. I was expecting it because I'd recorded the episode and read your post on Twitter. Also Simon Pegg wasn't impressed either. You are in good company! ;-) BBC1 Northern Ireland mustn't have gotten the banner memo.

I'm a bit unscared by the angels because they're suddenly so different - killing rather than zapping, trying to communicate - that they're just not *the Angels* to me anymore.

They still have the thing I found most scary about them - the way they move when you can't see them - but now there's more of them! Plus the not being able to switch off the screen thing, I've had nightmares like that. *shivers* I hope there is an explanation for why they're communicating now, though.
