1.) Thank you to the lovely anonymous person who bought me a month of paid time! I don't know who you are, but I know you are GREAT. ♥
2.) I watched Strange Days last night, on![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
the_smut_fairy's recommenedation, and it was very good. I wasn't sure at first that it was going to be my sort of thing, but I was wrong. The more I watched, the more invested I got in the characters - I don't think I have ever hoped so desperately for a film to have a happy ending before. I spent the last twenty minutes or so reminding myself to breathe as the tension ratcheted up higher and higher, especially during the chase through the street party - every time I thought Mace was safe, she was in danger again! I thought the film did a really good job in spinning out the implications of memory recording, all the ways it could be used and abused. Angela Bassett was fantastic, and Ralph Fiennes was great too (even if I did think he was Christopher Eccleston at first, whoops). So overall, highly recommended!
