1.) I am consistently amused by the fact that the Secretary of State for Transport's name is Lord Adonis.

2.) I have watched all of Leverage. There is no more. WOE. I shall just have to rewatch everything over and over again until the new season starts. This is a plan with no flaws. Anyway, here is another Giant List of Happy:

• Maggie came back! I love her. (I did not love her dress.) And she was dating The Middleman! And Manservant Neville was there too, OH SHOW I LOVE YOU.


• I really love Sterling too, he is loads of fun. "James Sterling. Interpol."


• They named a SANDWICH after Eliot! He was so pleased! Everyone else was so impressed! His fist bump with Hardison! Tiny hearts!


• Hee at Eliot not liking baseball until he realised that it meant he could HIT THINGS. (I do not like baseball either, but I pretend it is rounders and everything is ok. I used to be pretty good at rounders, but my skill level plateaued at about age nine, and being quite good for a nine year old is less helpful when you are sixteen. /tangent)


• SOPHIE! I did not realise how much I had missed her until she was BACK. "When I arrange a rescue, I do it properly." And I was so pleased that Tara wasn't a bad guy, though I wish we had got to keep her.


• Tara hit a bad guy in the face with AN IRON. And then she tried to cleave them! I love her.


• Oh, Eliot loved his fake Japanese advert SO MUCH. He was so bouncy! (As was his hair in that episode.)


• Poor Hardison and his van. D:


• I really loved Eliot getting to be in charge in "The Zanzibar Marketplace Job." The point is that people underestimate him!


• "Do that thing you do with your eyes that scares people."


• PARKER HUGGED SOPHIE. And her quiet little "I just miss you" was so lovely.


• The massive crane shot at the end of 2x15 was great but I did spend a lot of that scene yelling things like "First aid! Pressure on the wound! Stop him just bleeding to death! You're the FBI, haven't you had any training? Anyone?" I am weirdly intolerant of first aid fail on TV.


• Hee, Hardison buzzing Sterling every time he tried to say something ! ♥


• I loved how casually Parker was rappelling in and out of those two lifts, heh.


• HARDISON TRYING TO HUG IT OUT WITH ELIOT. ELIOT FENDING HIM OFF. HARDISON SNUGGLING ELIOT'S NECK WITH HIS HEAD. THIS IS MY FAVOURITE THING EVER.


• Oh, poor Parker in 2x13! And the way everyone was trying to make her feel better with FACTS. And Eliot's little "I could totally kill him, if that's the consensus" face!


• AHAHA Tara's and Parker's reactions to Eliot also doing the "say something cryptic and walk away" thing.


• HARDISON THE WEATHERMAN. He is so awesome.


• Hee, I was just getting a leetle tired of the "let's go steal a[n improbable thing]" formula when Nate drew the line at stealing the wake and insisted they would only borrow it. Also: "Yeah, we're gonna steal this ballpark. And then the team. But not necessarily in that order."


• ELIOT KNOWS ALL ABOUT FASHION. Though the scene at the beginning where Hardison is laughing at his outfit was equal parts "sporfle" and "cannot watch, too embarrassing."


• "It's like a long metal coffin. With wind." PARKER'S EXPRESSION.


• "Eliot, I'm gonna ask you not to do anything violent." / "What... what are you talking about? I only use violence as an appropriate response." And the fight! That was a great fight.


• Eeee, Eliot telling Tara that hating Sterling made her part of the team.


• Parker casually kicking that bad guy in the face was win. As was how annoyed Eliot was that she was doing his bit of the job. OH and the bit earlier where Hardison tells him to go and find someone to punch, and he GROWLS at him. A+


• BASICALLY I am just DELIGHTED by everything about Leverage, yes.

Er, yes. Am now in the market for Leverage related recs, if anyone has any: fic, vids, meta, picspams, squee posts, anything! I ship Parker/Hardison/Eliot and Sophie/Eliot the most, but everything is lovely. Thanks! Tiny hearts for everyone!

*g* I find Leverage to be a highly re-watchable show. I've made it through S1 twice, but really need to see S2 again! I was so excited by the return of Maggie! That episode might be my favorite of the season... or rather, my favorite right behind my favorite-favorite of the season finale.

*sighs* I want Season 3 now!

Anyway, Leverage fic recs... I'd suggest anything by halcyon_shift (especially The Green Light Job; I think I already mentioned that one to you) as well as anything by sparky77 (especially the Leverage/Supernatural/Torchwood crossover here which is actually the whole reason I started watching the show!). If you've ever watched any of The Big Bang Theory there is a crossover you can't miss here.

There's also a rec list here but I've not had the chance to read many of them yet; you might find something to your liking there, though! You might also find things you like at geteven_getfic or thebigbangjob.

I find Leverage to be a highly re-watchable show.
I thought it might be! It's so full of details and lovely little reaction shots and things.

Glad to hear you enjoyed The Green Light Job. I saw in comments on the Big Bang Theory x-over one that folks unfamiliar with the show still enjoyed it solely for its Parker elements. IMO, if you can find any clip of Sheldon Cooper, just to hear a little bit of the character, your enjoyment of the fic will probably increase tenfold. ;-)

You're making me want to rewatch the whole series! It is such a delightful show. Hee, Eliot all excited about his Japanese advert makes me :DD.

Here are a couple of favorites, both by ijemanja:

There is also some lovely fic from this year's Yuletide, I'd recommend checking the archive at AO3!

Hmm, I don't know if you'd be interested in this, but John Rogers, one of the guys behind the show, has a blog (http://kfmonkey.blogspot.com/search/label/leverage) in which he answers fan's questions after every episode (with some delay lately; he just posted Zanzibar Marketplace), and he's very candid and the fans are very smart (and sane) people, and I always enjoy reading it. Also he sometimes posts filming pictures, and they are always, as with everything in this show, delightful. Not sure it counts as meta, but there it is.
