1.) This week on Law and Order: Whoniverse Bingo Edition - Anjli Mohindra aka Rani Chandra! Brilliant. Sadly she didn't have that many scenes, and none with Freema Agyeman, but I thought she was pretty good in the ones she did have. (And next week L&O:WBE bringeth us THE DON WARRINGTON OF RASSILON. ...wait, is next week's the last one? Noooooo!) Also making me happy this week: Una! She was fantastic. I hope our heroes try and get someone for tax fraud EVERY week. And there's a sentence I never thought I'd type.
2.) Yesterday was my afternoon off and I did NOTHING, it was brilliant. I finished To Say Nothing of the Dog (♥) and read a big chunk of Strong Poison (sheer coincidence that I read this next, nothing to do with the vast number of references to it in TSNOTD). Then I curled up and listened to The Prisoner of Peladon, which I enjoyed very much, though I cannot guarantee I heard all of the plot due to being sleepy and warm, and David Troughton having a very soothing voice.
3.) I had forgotten how much I hate setting in sleeves, and have resolved from now on only to knit sleeveless things, or top down things (like this one which I have already made). At least I had an episode of Babylon 5 to watch at the same time - 'Babylon Squared', which is a great episode. I wish I hadn't seen 'War Without End' first, which spoiled the ending somewhat, but nevertheless it is very good. I particularly liked Delenn's storyline, with her standing up for what she believed was the right thing for her to do, even if it meant exile. And we get a little more information about the Minbari, too - the first time I watched Babylon 5 I came in midway through season two and didn't realise how slowly we found out about Minbari culture. Again, I really wish I'd seen all this in order the first time round!
ETA 4) Big Finish are looking for submissions for new Short Trips audios. !!!! YAY.

Date: 10 Feb 2010 14:29 (UTC)UNA pwns! I'd like to see her in a death match with the Master! :D
Anjli was awesome too! Lovely to see her playing another role. I confess to wanting them to bring her back as a junior since she said she wants to be a lawyer...
And yes, next week's IS the last one. Woe, woe, thrice woe!! But The Don Warrington of Rassilon is great fun!

Yes she did - I took special note of that - and squeed a bit!

I started with B5 Season 2, also, with "The Coming of Shadows." I then convinced a fannish friend to become my B5 pusher, and she provided me with tapes of everything I'd missed... wow. *huge grin*
I enjoyed Zathras, too. "Cannot run out of time. There is infinite time! You are finite. Zathras is finite. This... is wrong tool." Alas, Tim Choate (his actor) died in 2004 after a motorcycle accident.
