Two things
Tuesday, 24 March 2009 12:03First, RL people - am trying to arrange to go and see Antony and Cleopatra at the Tobacco Factory on my birthday (25th April), anyone interested?
Second, the other telly I watched last night - Law and Order: UK.
AHA! I knew the father was a wrong un, the moment I clapped eyes on him. "He dunnit," thought I, and I was right. Very satisfying. A good episode overall, I thought: the end almost made me cry. I liked the fact that everyone (except Bill Paterson's character) had some nice character bits, it was very well balanced in that department. Also, hi Colin Salmon! Let me again remark on how different you look when you're clean-shaven. Five episodes in and they're already two for two on People Who Have Played Avon, well done, show.
a) Am I the only one who giggles at the cheesy "these are their stories" bit at the beginning?
b)I am a bit sad that I haven't found anyone to ship Alesha with yet, apart from Dervla Kirwan, who was only in one episode. I am shipping Matt/Ronnie though (and also Matt/James even though they have only had about half a scene together, OH DEAR) - I think I might just be a bit overexcited at the fact that Jamie Bamber is playing a character I like again. I loved him on BSG at first but have gone off him quite a bit now, alas.
c) Apparently the DVDs don't come out until September! Will I still remember how much I love it then?
