it's times like this I wish I still had my scarf
Tuesday, 13 November 2012 09:46Chicks Unravel Time is out TODAY! If you like the sound of it, and you also like winning stuff, hie thee to this post on Deborah Stanish's blog, where there are also exciting event details, style of thing. If you are uncertain as to whether you want to buy it or not (of COURSE you want to buy it), here are some lovely reviews from SFX and The Examiner (the latter of which spells Kaite Welsh's name wrong, but does give the book five stars. Swings and roundabouts).
And because I haven't actually talked about it yet, my essay is on season 19 (the first Peter Davison one), and it's about how the programme was trying to redefine itself but also reassure long term fans that it wasn't throwing the baby out with the bathwater. It's called 'Harking Back and Moving On', and there are also jokes in it and stuff. :D?
(ps I redid my Dreamwidth layout, because if LJ are going to force us to use the site-styled reading page, I need to have my companions header SOMEWHERE... I've got customised comment pages on, because I find them just as easy to read in this layout as the site styled ones, but if this is an issue for anyone, let me know!)
