Emptying my brain again

Why does Windows Meeja Player hate me so? It's not that it won't let me do what I want to do, it just makes it really really tricky. And then freezes many times. All the while laughing at me in the blackness of its heart, oh yes.

Wrestling with the dread beast aside, life is good. Last weekend I made runner bean chutney (have not tried any yet so it may be Horrible but there you go) and played cricket. Sadly I am quite poor at cricket (first innings: caught out first ball, "can't be out first ball" rule kicked in, was caught out again second ball, woe. Second innings: one run! Win! Technically it was only a victory over my self but still) and also I got sunburnt inna face. But other than that much fun was had.

I have been inundated with many old episodes of Dr Who. I heart Two very much; I think he may be my favourite. Also Jamie is fantastic! I also watched the Very First Ever Episode which was dead exciting. Susan is a lot weirder than I was expecting (this is a thing of good). I think I had her confused with Susan Death from the Discworld books. Who is also very weird now I come to think of it. There was a point to this paragraph, I'm sure...

Anyway next weekend I am off to a wedding in Romiley! Very exciting. But I have to go via Wales. Wales is nice and all but it does add a bit to the journey time.
