Dear Teri Hatcher,

EAT SOMETHING.

Love, Jenni

Well now I have got that off my chest here is an actual proper update with genu-wine details about what I have been doing since my last update many many months ago, i.e. nothing. Well ok I have moved to Bristol which was all kinds of exciting and fun but that's about it. Also Hett came to stay (YAYS) and much fun was had, we went to see The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe which was ace and made me cry randomly and various points, and Goblet of Fire which was also pretty good. I think it benefited from having to be cut down so dramatically, and also the maze bit was Well Scary, unlike in the book. However Emma Watson appears to have forgotten how to act, which is unfortunate. Today I signed up for the Knitting Olympics which is dead exciting, though I do have a Terrible Injury to contend with (there was an incident involving an odd shaped lump of bread, a breadknife and my finger, however it was not serious and I am all rug, as Dido Twite would say). I also reread War and Peace which is excellent and highly recommended, although the epilogue lets it down somewhat. I am currently in the Ham of Chelt on a visit chez el parentes, for two important reasons, 1) yesterday was the Pate's Quiz Night, we did not do very well but at least we beat Kate's team AHAHA, and 2) I have run out of books. What else have I been doing? Mostly giving up watching stuff which is very out of character for me, in the last month or so I have become bored of and stopped watching The West Wing, 24 and The O.C. I am also VERY ANGRY with Angel, though there are only eleven episodes left and I refuse to waste £5 by not watching them. In more positive TV news I am loving Jake 2.0, the new series of House, and Life on Mars, and eagerly awaiting the returns of The Dead Zone, Stargate: Atlantis (shut up it is GREAT) and Lost. Work is going well, and on Thursday I had an exciting trip to the Special Collections section wherein live many fun things like a book by the Reverend Sir Archibald Mac Sarcasm Bart, Isembard Kingdom Brunel's slide rule, and every Penguin ever published, many of the older ones signed by their authors (or if, as in the case of Virginia Woolf, the author unfortunately died before signing it, with a bit of cut up cheque or something with their signature on it stuck it).

That is all.
