That's good news! Last time I baked a cake, it came out flat as a pancake and burnt to a cinder! :(

Put enough drizzled chocolate over the top, and we'll eat them tomorrow night - you know we're not fussy when it comes to cake!
We ate the lemon and poppyseed failcake, after all :-P

Mmm, failcake...
They're actually not that bad! A little caramelised, maybe, but definitely edible. (I am also planning to make a Victoria sponge, because I never have before.)
