My username is:shinyjenni, an exciting portmanteau formed from my actual name and a Firefly reference. I do say "shiny!" a lot. I don't really like it as a username and would change it if I could think of anything better that wasn't already taken (all suggestions gratefully received), but it'll do. I use it in many other places too, so there's that.
My journal name is: incorrigibly frivolous, which embarrassingly enough it turns out I have been spelling wrong all this time. Oops. ANYWAY, it is a phrase used to describe my two favourite Doctors, Eight and Two, plus it is fairly appropriate as I am stubbornly silly myself.
My title is: a vintage year for scoundrels, being the title of the first episode of Adam Adamant Lives! and a phrase I rather like. The word "scoundrels" should be used more, I think.
My subtitle is not a glamorous woman at the moment (another possible spelling mistake? I had it as glamourous, but the OED insists it is glamorous, which just looks wrong.) Being a quote from Seasons of Fear, in which the Doctor is not the Master, the Meddling Monk or the Rani: "Are you sure you've got the right [Time Lord]? I'm not the one who says "you must obey me", I don't meddle and I'm not a glamorous woman at the moment." Again, appropriate as I am terribly unglamorous. I am a woman though.
My friends page is called: fellow adventurers. When I was at uni I downloaded a game called "Strange Adventures in Infinite Space!"; I didn't play the game all that much but I loved the name and used it for my first LJ banner. This is a spin-off of that.
