Immediate, brief thoughts under ye cut!
Short version: MY HEART.
Seriously, that was just exactly what I wanted: moving, funny, no-one died or got mind-wiped, it all made sense (...ish) and we ended with Eleven, Amy and Rory off to have MANY LOVELY ADVENTURES.
Rory = the boy who waited. ♥ (Also, v. glad that waiting is no longer a girl-specific thing.) AHAHA the bit where Rory shot the Dalek! I knew having a companion with a gun for a hand would come in useful.
"I wear a fez now. Fezzes are cool." LOVELY ELEVEN. Oh, and Amy and River ganging up on the fez, I love them so.
"I'm River Song. Check your records." She is brilliant.
Amy measuring herself against Amelia to work out what year it was! Oh, Amelia in general, I was so pleased to see her again! (And the Doctor calls her Pond some more, I love that.)
"I'm not Mr Pond, that's not how it works!"/"Yeah it is."/"...yeah, it is." ♥ ♥ ♥
