Friday, 10 November 2006 14:34So apparently I can buy things on amazon without having my debit card right there. This surely does not bode well for my bank balance. But I may have had my comeuppance already as I ordered v. fast and did not check the delivery address so my shiny shiny copy of The Invasion and my dad's birthday present may have gone to Durham (v. bad) or more likely Cheltenham (less bad). And it is broken and will not let me back in to check, oh noes. This'll larn me! I say that, but this is not the first time I've done this exact same thing. Sigh. (ETA pants it is going to Cheltenham and will not let me change it. I will have to console myself by buying Tomb of the Cybermen for cheapness, yes.)
I am doing nanowrimo and it is haaard. It was actually going quite well despite my utter lack of plot and my inability to think of names either for things or people but then it all went horribly wrong. On Wednesday I worked late but still managed 1500 words (my target is 2000 words a day) but last night I went out and did no words, woe. I fear that this may be a Crucial Crisis Point at which I may fail miserably. Gulp.
