when I got to work this morning I found they'd changed the locks
1.) Happy belated birthday to
munditia for yesterday! Hope you had a lovely day.
2.) I am back from Brussels! There are over a thousand unread items in my Google Reader and I have missed EVERYTHING so please link me to things. Brussels was lovely, I took some rather haphazard photos (it is a feature of my camera that in the daylight it is nigh on impossible to see the screen so one cannot tell what one is taking pictures of), they are all on Facebook here and some are below. The weather was pretty good, except on Monday morning when it was freezing, and the Mother and I looked at many things. Sadly we failed to look at the Atomium, we got halfway there and then the metro was unexpectedly suspended, so we had to come back, which was a bit of a pain. Anyway, pictures:
3.) Oh, I started reading Victory of Eagles just now thinking it would be full of JOY but then I remembered what happened at the end of Empire of Ivory. NO JOY TODAY.
