doctor who: the power of three

Nearly typed "the power of squee". ALSO ACCURATE.

- Mainly my thoughts on this episode are FEEEEEEELINGS.

- They are the very beautifulest of OT3s and I don't want to give them up.

- KATE STEWART SO AMAZING. I also love how they've just casually corrected the whole shady UNIT thing from the RTD era. THEY'RE FINE NOW OK.

- Oh, they are being so grown up about the Ponds leaving and it is wonderful and also heartbreaking. How do you choose between those two amazing lives?

- Aw, glad to see Brian again, he is lovely.

- It was just full of delightful moments that made me laugh and/or go "aw" and that I absolutely forgot to make notes about. Like...

- "What do you think we do when we're not with you?"/"I imagine mostly kissing." :DDDDDD

- "Kiss from a Lethbridge-Stewart? That's new." I DON'T BELIEVE YOU. This episode was all about kissing y/y? (RORY KISSED THE DOCTOR. THE DOCTOR WAS PLEASED.)

- Full on sobbing when the Doctor saluted Kate. (Also, not the only time this episode made me cry.)

- I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH ALL THESE FEELINGS.

- Next week's had better be good. *crosses everything*

I was supposed to be doing CS homework today, but I have been reduced to a pile of fannish squee by this episode and I just can't see the appeal of the C++ programming language right now. :P

Ahaha, I had the same problem! I wanted to read one more chapter of a book on interview-based research, but just couldn't concentrate... :D

They really are, aren't they? That's part of what makes me so sad--that not just Amy and Rory are leaving, but Karen and Arthur as well. :/

It's going to be so much worse next week. I need a doctor's note of a very special kind, one that says that I ought to have extensions on my homework because I am spending the weekend grieving the Ponds' departure with Eleventy and won't be able to concentrate on any sort of math. :P

I expect she will! I'm glad she was in AotD--getting to see how cool she really is made me feel much better about the prospect of a new companion. :)
